Over 50% of the boards on this deck were rotting at the joints

Old decking removed (Here, we found unpainted, non-pressure treated wood framing. Not good for the Northwest!)
The Solution: We applied Vycor tape, which seals around the fasteners and keeps water from coming into contact with the untreated and unpainted wood underneath
